Name: Gorilion Type: Territoral Primate Size: 3m Description: Although Gorilions are herbivores, they are extremely territorial and will tear to pieces any creatures that penetrate their territory. Although these creatures have spread to a number of worlds, they are still only found in forested or jungle areas, usually in tropical weather conditions. They mate for life, and family groups remain close even after the cubs have grown to adulthood, forming simple groups of families consisting of up to 2 dozen members led by an alpha male. Although Gorilions can be extremely dangerous to those who accidentally stumble into their territory, they rarely stray from their claimed lands, so can actually co-exist with intelligent beings quite closely as long as they are allowed their own space. Various scientific attempts have been made to train and tame Gorilions, but they have failed due to the strong aggressive streak in their temperament, and although their pelts can fetch a small price, Gorilions are generally considered to be useless and not worth the effort of hunting, capturing or killing them. Mandalorians, however, fight these creatures for pride.

Name: Kinrath Type: Hunting Insect Special Abilities Infra Red Sense: Kinrath have no eyes but can sense heat, effectively giving them infra red vision over a short range. Venomous Sting: Kinrath have a poisonous bite. Size: 1.4m tall Description: Kinrath are a species of large, non-sentient arachnids. They live on Dantooine and Kashyyyk, and possibly other planets. They are normally a light yellow-brownish color, but other varietes were slightly differenly colored. One other variety was the Viper Kinrath. Kinraths grew to their full size quickly, some hatchlings seen had been nearly the size of adult Kinraths. Kinrath seemed to be hive creatures, and a single female Kinrath Matriarch was the leader of a hive of Kinrath. Kinrath have four legs and a leg-like, poisonous appendage coming out of their faces that they used to attack things. All Kinrath have no eyes, so they are, of course, blind. They could sense heat, however, and attack whatever they sensed. What stoped them from attacking each other were sweat glands that they had. Their sweat released a stench that only they could smell, and they did not attack things with the smell of their sweat. It was possible to remove the sweat glands from a Kinrath to avoid being attacked by them when exploring areas infested with them.

Name: Nexu Type: Forest Predator Size: 0.94m tall, 4.15m long Orneriness: 3D Description: The nexu comes from the forests of Indona, one of the continents on the planet Tracyn. A variety of nexu breeds exist, adapted to environments such as the cool forests of the northern latitudes, and the warmer jungles of the south. The forest nexu has a secondary set of eyes that view infrared wavelengths, allowing it to see the heat signatures of warm- blooded prey like arboreal octopi and stout bark rats. The creature's sprawling stance allows broad footing in the leafy canopies. Nexu have been transplanted offworld, and some have even been domesticated. On Malastare, the creatures are used for patrol-duty. A fierce and agile predator, the nexu was one of a trio of deadly beasts unleashed by the Geonosians upon Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the execution arena. The nexu's broad face was split by a terrifying tooth-filled maw, and four eyes glinted from atop its spade-shaped head. Its wiry, supple muscles were visible beneath its fine coat, and sharp curving quills lined its spine. A naked, forked prehensile tail trailed it, aiding in balance, and its arms and legs terminated in large curved claws. The nexu zeroed in on Padmé Amidala, who had partially escaped her bonds and climbed up her execution pillar. Mostly safe from its reach, Padmé was able to user her own chains and shackles to stun the beast. Though sustaining a glancing slash of the nexu's claws, Padmé was able to kick the wind out of the animal, momentarily stunning it. The injured nexu was then killed by a charging attack from a fellow arena beast, the reek, which was under the control of Anakin Skywalker.

Name: "Lumpy" Type: Domestic Pet Special Abilities Digestion: Can digest any vegetable matter, and many non-organic types of matter too, although meat makes them ill. Size: 25cm tall, 30cm long Description: Lumpies are a domesticated pet which have spread across the galaxy, and although they are not popular pets, their strong digestive systems have allowed them to thrive on worlds where they have been introduced. They were bred and sold as fashionable pets in a fad about 200 years ago, and they were brought onto a great number of planets as docile and cute pets, however when the fad passed the majority were dumped and left to look after themselves. Their herbivorous nature and ability to survive on almost any type of vegetable matter, from luscious Vertis leaves to solid lumps of Greel wood, allowed them to survive and flourish on most worlds they had been introduced to. Although not as popular pets as they once were, they are still common domestic pets, since they are completely safe pets for children, since they do not bite and any meat makes them violently ill. They do however eat almost anything other than animal flesh, and more than one owner has gone to answer their beeping commlink only to find it in their Lumpies stomach, or in a pile of Lumpy vomit. Because of the cheapness of keeping a Lumpy, since the owner need only collect some lawn cuttings to keep a Lumpy well fed for weeks, many freighter captains keep them for company on long journeys, finding the cute furry creatures to be excellent if quiet animal friends during the extended periods of loneliness in hyperspace. The species origin is now lost as is its real name, the name "Lumpy" and "Lumpies" dates back to its popular phase and was probably a joke name given to the species as an advertising gimmick, but has not stuck as it is a fairly descriptive term for this odd species.

Name: Massif Type: (on Tracyn) Pack hunter Size: 0.76m Tall Description: The close proximity of Geonosis and Tatooine undoubtedly led to the migration of the creature from one world to another, most likely the result of careless traders introducing the animal into a new ecosphere. On Geonosis, massiffs are emblems of the Geonosian aristocracy, and domesticated massiffs are used to rid the hives of vermin. On occasion, massiffs are used in arena fighting. On Tatooine, they are similarly domesticated as camp guard animals. Massiffs are burly quadruped carnivores, standing about a meter tall at the shoulder. They have coarse skin, large jaws, toothy mouths, big dark eyes, and a line of hard spines along their backs. They are found on both Tatooine and Geonosis. Tusken Raiders have been known to domesticate the creatures.

It was also theorized that they had very soft bones, built for agility and not strength. This is thought because when Padme kicked the beast of the pillar it just layed there, and appeared to be immobile.

Actually when Padme kicked the nexu she broke several of it's ribs, as evidenced by the way the rib cage partially collapses upon hitting the ground.
